Philpot Education aims to:
- spread international mindedness in education,
- inspire IB teachers to teach with enthusiasm and creativity,
- help students build skills and confidence to succeed in their exams.
In order to achieve this, we organise effective workshops and create stellar resources. Our workshops and resources are carefully prepared and based on sound methodology. Our consultants, workshop leaders and authors offer a wealth of experience and expertise.
As a licensed 'Provider' of IB teacher training workshops for the Africa, Europe, Middle East region, our mission and vision are closely aligned with those of the International Baccalaureate.
Philpot Education is a social enterprise. Our aim of increasing access to international education is inclusive and responsible. We develop workshops for subjects with smaller candidate numbers, such as Danish and Italian. We work with schools closely to meet their professional development needs.
Philpot Education started in 2008 as the freelance work of Brad Philpot, who, besides teaching at an international school in Amsterdam, tutored IB students, organised workshops and wrote educational resources. In 2013 Philpot Education became a licensed provider of professional development by the International Baccalaureate and began offering a range of workshops around Europe.
Philpot Education is registered in the UK with a head office in the Netherlands. Workshops are currently organised in Amsterdam, Cairo, Crete, Copenhagen, Milan and Warsaw.
